Delete Your Account & Data

You can request deletion of your SkillIt account and associated personal data at any time, whether or not you currently have the app installed. This page explains what gets deleted, what we retain, and how long it takes.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app

Option 2 — Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, or prefer to request deletion by email, send a request to the address below from the email associated with your account. Include your registered name and phone number so we can locate your account.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email address, and password
• Profile photos and saved addresses
• Professional listing details, if applicable (bio, service category, photos)
• In-app chat messages associated with your account
• Push notification tokens

What we may retain, and why

We may retain limited information for a defined period after deletion where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes — for example, records needed to investigate a reported policy violation. Reviews you've left may be retained in anonymized form to preserve the integrity of other users' listings, with your name and photo removed.

Timeline

Account deletion requests are processed within [e.g. 30 days] of a verified request. You'll receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
